Happy Spring@ Tax season is in full swing. I am so happy to see everyone. Just a few reminders; April 30th is the deadline for your 2% discount, June 30th is the deadline for the end of your face amount, before a 10% penalty goes into effect.
Thanks to all who have recognized the notification in your tax bill requesting payment by check or money order be made payable to “Amity Township Tax Collector”. When using Payment Processing online, please send a copy of your tax bill separately so the barcode on the bill can be scanned at year’s end to make proper confirmation with payment records.
Many of you are eligible for the Tax Rebate Program. Please make sure you secure your tax receipts when you make payment. A stamped receipt will be required for you to file in the following year.
A notice to taxpayers who still have RD#4 addresses on you tax bill and/or improper mailing address (not receiving bills). Please review, sign and forward the change of address card that is provided in your bill to the Erie County Courthouse so you can receive your bill from USPS securely.
Please make sure your funds are available when making payments. I make frequent deposits. Payment must be solvent to avoid checks returned for insufficient funds.
