Oil City, PA – Erie County Maintenance Manager Jim Shaut today announced the following county maintenance schedule for the week of September 30, 2024, for roadways maintained by the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT).
The bridge that carries Greenlee Road (Route 4013) over Elk Creek in McKean Township is closed to allow for repairs to the roadway leading up to each side of the bridge. A detour is posted using Route 19, Sharp Road (Route 3025) and Flower Road (Route 4008).
PennDOT crews at facilities throughout District 1, which includes Crawford, Erie, Forest, Mercer, Venango and Warren counties, complete a large scope of work on more than 3,600 miles of roadway throughout the year to help provide an efficient transportation system.
